jobelle
Jobelle is a born daydreamer. She loves watching the birds in flight in summer and listening to the rain in May.
She finds comfort in the strange, dark worlds of Haruki Murakami, and inspiration in J.K Rowling’s genius. Her poetry is heavily influenced by Charles Bukowski, Pablo Neruda, and the spoken words of Sara Kay and Andrea Gibson.
She graduated with a BA in Mass Communication and an MA in English Language Studies from Batangas. Currently, she’s working full-time as a copywriter and teaches Literature in a local college in Lipa. She also writes theatre plays and became a CCP Virgin LabFest Writing Fellow in 2015.
