Jezia Talavera
Jezia Talavera is an email marketer and a student of life who loves listening to other people’s stories.
Her writing journey started with listing book titles that she wanted to publish someday. In high school, she took up Journalism classes and participated in different press conferences. Her mentor also taught her blogging to hone her writing skills. At 17, Jezia got published in the Philippine STAR.
Through the years, she learned other disciplines of writing, including essay and research writing, editing of instructional materials, book proofreading, content writing, and email copywriting.
Jezia is also an advocate of the country’s local heritage—from its history, culture, languages, literature, music, to films. She has helped promote some of the Philippine languages with her undergraduate background in linguistics. She also loves watching Filipino films, as well as listening to OPM, including her favorite Ben&Ben songs and the rap music of Gloc-9, Abra, and Shanti Dope.
