Chie Sipin-Bjarenas
Chie Sipin-Bjarenas is a passionate educator, an avid storyteller, a bibliophile, a reading advocate, and a lifelong learner. She has been teaching English in Southeast Asia for more than 20 years and trains teachers to teach Reading Comprehension and Writing. She has worked with both Indonesia’s Ministry of Education and the Singapore Examination and Assessment Board.
Her favorite books include B.J. Novak’s The Book With No Pictures, Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are, and Audrey Niffenegger’s The Time Traveler’s Wife. She has two wild things of her own that she adores: her cats Maja and Freija.
