Do you have a web novel in Dreame, Wattpad, or any other reading platform? Do you dream of publishing your book someday? Are you waiting for pub houses to discover you and offer to print paperback copies of your web novel but no one’s offering you because mababa ang reads mo and wala kang malaking following?

WELL, WALA AKONG PAKE KUNG MABABA ANG READS MO OR MALIIT LANG FOLLOWING MO. SA NUMBERS BA NAKASALALAY ANG MGA PANGARAP MO?

KUNG MANANAMPALATAYA KA DIN LANG SA NUMBERS, TUMAYA KA NALANG SA LOTTO.

Hi, I’m Kath C. Eustaquio-Derla, the founder and CEO Of PaperKat Books and PaperKatalogue, The Magazine. You’ve probably seen my interviews or my viral post about The Unfortunate Wattpad Author. If not, read it here: bit.ly/UnfortunateWPAuthor

In the past few days, para akong naging Raffy Tulfo In Action. Ang dami nyong nagsusumbong sa akin about your bad experiences working with ***some*** pub houses that (OMG!) print manuscripts straight from Wattpad or Dreame without editing. Saklap diba? But unlike Raffy Tulfo, I can’t take action because I’m not your mentor, wala akong K (as in karapatan) na ipagtanggol ka because hindi naman kita mentee. All I can do is give you advice.

WALA AKONG PAKE. As a publisher myself, I DON’T LOOK AT THOSE NUMBERS. FROM WEB TO PRINT—with or without a publisher.

Yes, tama. Hindi mo kailangan ng publisher to self-publish a book. Kaya nga “self”-publishing eh. Ikaw yung publisher, self. As in yourself. In other words, DIY (do it yourself) ito.

BUT! I’m going to teach you how to do it THE RIGHT WAY. I’m going to teach you the programs to use, the people to find, and how to raise funds to print a few copies of your book. The goal is to get your story from web to print without waiting for a publishing contract. Because you can! You can DIY, pero dapat alam mo yung ginagawa mo o pinapasok mo. Kaya nga ito na, I will teach you na.

I will answer the following:

  • What to check before you print your web novel.
  • Do I remove my web novel from the platform?
  • And more!

I’m doing this for the very first time, so I made sure that the registration fee is affordable to all.

I’m sorry it took me a long time to come up with this event for web novel authors. LOL. But ang dami na nagsusumbong.

I created this event especially for Dreame and Wattpad authors—authors with web novels. And if you think hindi ako qualified to teach because wala naman ako libro sa Dreame and Wattpad, well, may web novel na ako sa Cosmopolitan Philippines (Cosmo.ph) before pa nag-boom yun Wattpad nyo. I was the writer behind the viral and controversial Bedroom Blog by Veronica (parang local version ito ng Sex and the City). Dito nagsimula ang following ko… from a web novel writer to self-published author to editor to designer to printer and now a publisher.

If you read Bedroom Blog by Veronica on Cosmo.ph in 2009-something to 2011-something, ako yung writer behind the pen name “Veronica”.

Kung gusto nyo matuto ng tamang proseso, please join this special webinar I created especially for web novel authors. And you will have my support.

If ayaw nyo matuto at masaya na kayo sa printed books na madaming mali, BALAKAYO DYAN. BYE.
