In collaboration with Copywriting Dojo Philippines, PaperKat Books had its 5th run of How To Write A Book & Self-Publish It [The Workshop] at Clock In The 30th in Pasig City.

Founder and CEO, Kath C. Eustaquio-Derla, opened the program by asking everyone to introduce themselves and pitch their book idea/s. Kath talked about her self-publishing journey, how she started PaperKat Books, and where it is headed in 2020.

Kath then discussed the most effective way of outlining your book and the business of self-publishing. Senior Editors Paula Bianca Abiog and Katherine Lopez Hernandez talked about the importance of editing, the benefits of hiring a book mentor, and how to address writer’s block. Lastly, PaperKat Books’ 79th self-published author Ma. Desiree Cruz-Ballesteros shared her book writing journey and success story.
