BOOK DESCRIPTION

A collection of letters in English and Filipino left unsent

Every day, we meet people with stories of regret to tell. I have written for them letters that they should have given to their persons of interest. They may not be able to give these to them because of circumstances like death, distance, or simply that their part of the story is over, but reading it now can somehow give them closure.

These are the words that we wished we said. These are the emotions that we felt but failed to let someone else feel. Maybe because we were caught up with a lot of mishaps and misalignments. Maybe the options that we chose were wrong. Maybe we were busy making ships that never touched the sea or making airplanes that never saw the sky.

These moments happen so fast that in the blink of an eye, they are gone.

Don’t wait for cosmic alignments. Say it and mean it, before it’s too late. If you can relate to the letters, feel free to give these to people in your life…so they can serve their purpose now, despite being once too late for someone else.

REVIEWS

Mga Sulat Na Para Sana Sa 'Yo embodies the words we never get to say, the feelings which cannot be put into words, the should'ves, would'ves, and could'ves that we could not act on. It is a reminder that although feelings may be fleeting, the words that define them engrave their mark on our hearts and souls. With the letters in the book, we let our hearts speak as if they fill in the blanks of those we cannot express by ourselves. This is a quick but deep read for those who need introspection about their thoughts and feelings for themselves and their significant others. This portion is brought to you by La Cathedral Cafe chocolate tablea and a cold chocolate drink, enjoyed with The Manila Cathedral and some imagined shootout scenes at the background.

“Reading this book is like stepping into one person's life and watching the most hidden secrets unfold before your eyes. It is like watching your favorite tele novela. It tells stories of people you know, people you would want to know, people you want to meet, and people you may have already met—and it tells of your own experiences and emotions.”
Dr. Agnes Cruz
“A very relatable book that makes you realize that we are not alone in the world. That someone out there has felt exactly the same love, pain, and regret that you once felt. That someone out there also triumphed, got back on the saddle, and moved on with their lives, the same as you did. It'll make you realize that different though we are in many ways, in the very heart of our humanity, we are the same. Looking for love, finding contentment, and many things to be grateful for. Thank you, Vanessa, for writing down our thoughts and giving them a voice because, through you, we were able to send them out to the universe as well.”

“I am so happy and touched that I got a copy of this beautiful book, created with love by no other than Queen V. Started reading it, it talks about “what could have been” sad but with a positive impact in the end. Excited to share the beauty of the book #MSPSY as Christmas presents.”
Dr. Jing Isidro
“This heartwarming piece of literature will touch anybody's heart. Each letter draws a different feeling. As I randomly pick a letter to read, there's growing anticipation for a new and exciting story. Here's looking forward to the next book!”
