BY MA. JILLIAN P. TALAVERA
STORY DESCRIPTION
During the Yulo Period, the apparents, people who can read minds, formed an organization. Their goal is to prevent corruption and stop evil from executing their plots.
At present time, 12-year-old Daphne unknowingly possesses this gift. In school, she meets Leonard, who is also an apparent. He introduces her to an imminent mission ahead. Farmers in the valleys experience a drop in production as a poison infiltrates their soils. As the two investigate, a man named Kilmer suddenly appears in Daphne’s dreams, the man the government links to this crime.
With their unique gift, can the apparents help the farmers gain back their livelihood? And from whom will Daphne discover the ultimate truth?
