Love, marriage and everything in between are featured in Before I Do Anthology, a collection of essays and anecdotes peppered with real love lessons from real people
Every day, Facebook feeds and Instagram stories are peppered with status change announcements, well-thought prenup shoots, wild and wacky bachelor’s/bachelorette’s parties and hugot lines. But behind every status update and uploaded photo are interesting stories waiting to be told—and this is what exactly Before I Do Anthology is out to reveal.
Before I Do Anthology is the brainchild of self-published author Kath C. Eustaquio-Derla. The book is a collection of essays and stories from 32 writers with different backgrounds and beliefs, who shared their thoughts on relationships, dating, weddings, and marriage.
The anthology came about after Kath penned and published her first book, Before I Do, a fictional story that nevertheless talks about the many real issues women go through before they get the perfect man, the perfect ring, and the perfect wedding.
Kath then tapped her fellow writers to share their own thoughts, stories, and lessons about commitment, fear of commitment, the cultural fixation on weddings, life after marriage and more. This new book, however, is not fiction—it’s real, no bullshit, no-holds-barred love lessons served on the rocks. It’s a must-read for every Filipino regardless of relationship and Facebook status.
Before I Do Anthology is a self-published book launched in Manila on December 30, 2016 at Book and Borders Café, Eastwood City. It will soon be available in bookstores. For inquiries and orders, send an e-mail to Kath at firstname.lastname@example.org or order online here.
